International Membership
Kennel Club USA is proud to announce its partnership with the Union Cynologie International known as the UCI.
The UCI is a German based
organization with International ties throughout Europe and other countries
around the world. Kennel Club USA will name Kennel Club International as
the organization that will be offering to dog fanciers from all around the world
an array of International Championships that you and your dog can be awarded.
Kennel Club International will soon list a calendar of events for the year 2011.
Kennel Club International will also list the breeds that we can offer
International Championships. Call 301-868-5718 for more information.
IABACA is no longer a member of the UCI and therefore cannot issue an
International Title from the UCI, contact IABACA for further information with
regards to International Titles or to find out what country they are licensed or
approved to issue International Titles from.

KYI-LEO
GENERAL APPEARANCE:
A Kyi-Leo is a small sturdily built dog, completely covered with long hair. He
is active, alert and very agile.
SIZE:
Variable,
smell to very small. Preferred height is 9-11 inches, but no less than 8 inches
or more than 12 inches. Length of body is longer than height at withers, but in
well balanced proportions.
LEGS:
Forelegs
strong and straight. Hindlegs strong and moderately angular Should be well
covered with hair.
FEET:
Round,
well covered with hair, even between the toes and pads. Good control of Font
feet in grasping, holding and playing.
COLOR:
Preferred is black and white part color. Black marking around the eyes and black
ears are very desirable. There may be brownish shadings above the eyes and at
the of the ears. The black of some specimens may lighten to a silvery slate prey
as the mature. Other colors are acceptable. Nose, lips and eye rims should be
black.
COAT:
Long and
thick with a silky texture. Straight or with a slight wave. Tends to part
naturally along the spine. It may take longer than three or four years to reach
full length.
HEAD:
Completely covered with long hair. Definite stop. Muzzle medium. Tip of nose to
corner of eye should be shorter than from eye to back of head, in approximately
one to two ratio. good fall of hair over eyes. good length whiskers and beard.
EYES:
Frontal placement. Medium to dark brown. large but not bulgy. Bright and alert.
Gives face a comprehensive, intelligent expression.
EARS:
Drop ears, well covered with hair.
BITE:
Scissors, level or revere scissors.
TAIL:
Well
feathered and curled over the back when alert. May be dropped when relaxing,
eating or unhappy.
CHARACTER:
Lively and playful charming and affectionate. Love attention. Eager to please
but possessing a stubborn streak. Generally very sociable but sometimes reserved
with strangers.
